Digital Citizenship: finding your place in the online world Online
Madison College librarians are rethinking their important role in teaching information literacy. In a rapidly changing world that uses social media, expanded technologies, "media outlets", podcasts and more, information seeking and sharing has become complicated. The "New Information Literacy" require skills far beyond finding and evaluating information. This workshop examines the interconnectedness of many literacies and will explore the necessity of being safe, smart, and socially responsible in the Digital World.
