Making the Jump to College (Level I) In-Person
Will this be your first semester of college? Have you been out of school for awhile? Are you the first in your family to attend college? Are you part of our Scholars of Promise*? Get a head start on what to expect for your first semester of College before you even arrive. This FREE fun, interactive workshop will empower all new incoming students by providing a comfortable pathway to college-level learning. Led by College librarians, students will begin to connect to our Madison College community through an overview of academic support services such as technology, tutoring, and library resources. By participating, students will create connections and identify support that will be critical to getting off to a good start and achieving academic success. It's a low stress workshop and treats will be provided. We would love to meet you!
*This workshop counts towards the mandatory workshop requirements for Scholars of Promise.
Please note that if we get less than 2 registrations, we will cancel the workshop.
All attendees must register. This includes parents, guardians, etc.*
